hi all,
I'm new to all this ! I applied for a post person / driving job nearly a month ago i done the online assessment as soon as it arrived in my emails but does this mean i have no hope for an interview now as its been so long .

It's often a long drawn out process but I would of expected some sort of application acknowledgement after a month. Maybe worth dropping an email to myapplication@royalmail.com

A decade ago I applied in June and got an interview in November. Hopefully its quicker than that now, but I wouldn't think a month or 2 is excessive in RM recruitment process.

Ok so I emailed on the 19th and no email back yet ! still keeping fingers crossed. Also how do I check my status of application I done it last time but I cant find the log in page any help with be amazing .thanks in advance

You will see on the left hand side 'my applications'

log in that way and youll see your status and you can check emails they have sent you!

I just looked on there and where it says next step its blank any ideas what this means or do i just carry on waiting

hmmmm im not sure about that...i know this sounds stupid but did you submit your complete application along with test when you recieved and completed it?? its just that i nearly made the mistake of doing the online tests then not actually submitting my application.....did you check your emails on the same log in page?? itll tell you whether they got a complete application

Hi all,
I emailed royalmail this morning they said they were short listing for the next week but just looked at my email and I didn't get an interview :( really gutted wanted this so bad . But allways next time i suppose :(

That's a pity you didn't get that job, but next time maybe you should tell more positive things about yourself in the resume, just don't be shy. I couldn't do it on my own, so used professional help, online resume writing at{masked}. Hope you'll get desired position some day.
