assessment day question

Post by rhys11 »

Hi all

I've had an email saying that I must bring proof of my GCSE grades to the assessment day. The problem is I got my results 20 years ago and I have no idea where they are.
I do have an NVQ2, which i read online is equivalent to 5 GCSE'S so I was hoping that would be ok.

has anybody else had the same problem or a similar situation.

Thanks

 You need GCSE's to be a Postie!
Guess I must of snuck under the radar. :nervous

To be fair,i'm guessing it will be ok and at your age i'm guessing again that they wouldn't expect you to still have the certs.

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

Thanks for the replies.

I forgot to say the assessment day is for the apprenticeship scheme royal mail are running. They say you have to bring proof of gcse's on the day.
I've been a postie for about 16 years and could really do with a change lol.
