In that case I shall be asking how it is they can expel people for belonging to a political party "that works against trade union principles" but cannot expel strike breakers that most certainly are "working against trade union principles"- quite literally in fact. Months ago I wrote to their magazine "the voice" about this but they can`t of heard me..
Come to think of it if they can`t do this under Thatchers laws how is it I`ve seen notices at work saying the union intend to do just that. They don`t seem to know if they can do this or not. Let`s hope they don`t put this in the hands of their lawyers if recent events are anything to go by.
Just back from Liverpool meeting, we are staying OUT.
We were told there is an agreement in place, and although we and the union reps havent seen it, we were asked to take a leap of faith and go back to work.

I applaud your stance brothers and sisters, as for the leap of faith, if its billy whos asking for this, I WOULD GET SOME LEGAL ADVICE FIRST,i would not trust that man if my life depended on it, anyway good luck ,and keep sticking it up them.
i voted to go back as i believed that the union were not telling porkies,and i think that the agreement will cover us, the problem we have now is [b]WE ARE ON OUR OWN NOW[/b] NO LONDON TO TAKE THE HEAT OFF US!!!!!

why are the cwu hidng in deal. to put a stop to the wildcat strikes!.
i will never forgive cwu if they broke this momentum for a cheap and crap deal.
not to mention that there is still resentment in the workplace folowing the suspention of the last stike.
I voted to stay out, i believe the Union reps had knew more than they could let on, but as a delivery man we walked out because of the 6am starts, if we went back tommorow we would start at 6am.
The managers in our office also told us we wouldnt be allowed out till 10am, so for a couple of hours we would of been forced to sort or throw/take o/t walks out.
We will see if we are covered in this agreement, but as they say seeing is believing
Would there be any posties from liverpool interested in speaking at a meeting at LJMU? I've disgusted to have found out that a recruitment agency based in our student union has been running student strike breakers into copperas hill, and want to try organise something to urge students to stop acting as scab labour.
I ALSO VOTED TO GO BACK, TO TAKE A LEAP OF FAITH IN THE AGREEMENT, BUT THE VOTE WAS TO STAY OUT, SO BE IT. WE WILL HAVE TO SEE WHAT THE AGREEMENT CONTAINS. THE MAIL CENTRE START TIMES ARE DUE TO CHANGE MONDAY, LETS SEE WHAT HAPPENS THIS WEEK
