NEC/PEC Election ?

Just received an e-mail from my branch to say that there is to be another ballot for NEC and PEC, can anyone tell me why ?

yep some branches told voters they could select up to 13 when in actual fact it was only 5.

In my opinion although it was easy to follow the instructions the actual layout of the voting paper wasn't very engaging.

Lol, pretty sure the excuse Billy gave for calling his election early was to save the union money by having a joint election

Yes it is just the PEC election re-run. But the rerun of the PEC Ballot will be done alongside the election of the new DGSP following Dave Wards election to GS.

The reasons for the rerun of the PEC election is numerous

1. The system used in 2013 was changed without notice to branch's leading to over 1000 spoilt papers.

2. The ballot paper recommended that you could only vote for 5 but the facts were only 4 PEC can be elected.
