Hello.
How much notice are we required to serve? Is it one week? As we are paid weekly!? Also, should there be holiday entitlement? The new allotment has only just began, but I am yet to take any of my chosen.

Yes it's one week and holiday entitlement is pro-rata

Your holiday is accrued at roughly 2.5 days per month. So if you give your notice in on 1 May you are entitled to only 2.5 days total.

Yes it's one week, I gave my one weeks notice on a Wednesday the week before the Easter holidays, as I gave the notice ( on a Wednesday ) the manager showed me the duty sheets and said there was nothing she could do and I was working the Thursday and Saturday the following week.
When they rang the following Thursday asking why I wasn't in work they was informed I didn't work for royal Mail anymore as I had served my weeks notice, if you are a manager know the law re employment people.
