Actually it was NW Postie that said that and not halffull and you got your quotes mixed up.
Anyway, Farage is a failed wannabee Tory.
His views are the views of the far right of the Tory party and have nothing to do with working class people.
Along with the rest of his ilk he is public school educated.
Hitler's policies appealed to much of the working class didn't they?
Nicola sturgeon Reiterating this week that she will renationalise Royal Mail . I'll vote anything to get the self serving ,disgusting Tories out . Another 5 years of them serving there rich buddies , no thank you .

In your opinion, maybe, but much of the UKIP support is drawn from traditional Labour voters. You don't think that good old Conservative voters in the leafy shires etc would support Farage, surely?
Hitler's policies appealed to much of the working class didn't they?
Hitler (mentioned so soon, too) drew support from most the German people; much of the German and Austrian aristocracy and the technical/middle classes couldn't hitch their wagons to Hitler's star quickly enough, but what's your point? That the working class can't be trusted to vote for a leader?
Sounds a lot like traditional Conservatism, if so.
A union leader will accuse Ukip of being "downright dangerous".
Beryl Shepherd, president of the Communication Workers' Union will say the party led by Nigel Farage is anti-women, anti-diversity and anti the NHS.
She will tell the opening day of the CWU's annual conference in Bournemouth on Sunday: "They are no friends of the trades union movement.
"It is a sobering moment when we hear Ukip supporters trying to endear themselves to the working class and that some people are persuaded by their rhetoric.
"They are not the party of the working class," she will say, branding the party as "downright dangerous".
Much of the union's work could be "wasted" and its policies harder to deliver if any party other than Labour wins the general election, she will say.
The point is Farage pretends to be one thing when really he is something else completely.
Far from being the beer swilling man of the people, he is an elitist right wing zealot who will say anything to get elected.
He is in my opinion the most dangerous politician we have see in Europe for 70/80 years (along with that Le Pen woman.)
Any trade unionist considering voting UKIP should have their head examined.

Farage was educated at Dulwich College, a public school in south London.[16] On leaving school in 1982, he decided not to go to university, but to work in the City, trading commodities at the London Metal Exchange.[14] Initially, he joined the American commodity brokerage firm Drexel Burnham Lambert,[16] transferring to Credit Lyonnais Rouse in 1986.[16] He joined Refco in 1994, and Natexis Metals in 2003
So working class?
Ever felt you have been duped?
Shall we mention his tax and expenses fiddles?

Don't they all? So what? Most can see through the electioneering spin but ignore that for the policies (supposedly) on offer.
He is in my opinion the most dangerous politician we have see in Europe for 70/80 years (along with that Le Pen woman.)
Got you running scared, it would seem, and that's the appeal for many; something different to get the Big Two to actually consider the "man in the street's" concerns. Farage is a crank attracting many other cranks, but now even Labour talk about the "problem of mass immigration" rather than dismiss said concerns as bigotry (good old Gordon, the one-eyed Sweaty tw*t) and for that alone thanks are due.
The point is Farage pretends to be one thing when really he is something else completely.
Don't they all?
No.
He diverts attention away from the real problems - lack of affordable housing, underfunding of the NHS - and scapegoats one section of the community.
Running scared? Ha Ha Ha.
Not so long ago the BNP were getting councillors/MEPs elected left right and centre.
A coordinated response finished them. UKIP will be no different.

And how do you feel about tony blair? the man who single handedly ruined a whole country with foreign policy & an open door policy to all to come & drain our country of its houses/benefits/jobs & turn us into a politically correct mess!

This really is the new way to strangle free speech isn't it! Tar anyone who speaks out against numbers of migrants coming into britain with the old bnp racist tag, its the quickest way leftist labour voters smear a party leader or party to discredit all what they say!
Well guess what,it does not work anymore! Its not wrong to be british & proud! The tide is turning & its only a matter of time before we are out of the eu & the old main parties are finished for good!

Get your quotes right ! I never said that.
I said "he is pretty much saying what most working class people think"

NWpostie wrote:Democracy is a free expression of political choices, when Farage went on his speaking tours he got followed by a Socialist worker rent a mob, threatened, shouted down and trapped in a pub, that's not democracy that dictatorial intimidation tactic preventing free expression of political views, how can that be right ?
As to Labour I have nothing against it and indeed voted in the past for them, however with the current leader I have no confidence in him or his ability to do the job, he is the wrong man for the job, as to the others I will judge as I see fit, no rent a mob is going to change my mind it will serve to harden my views.
Not saying the UKIP did it, in fact its reported that a splinter group of the EDL were the culprits, but just like we shouldn't tar UKIP with actions by others outside their control, then UKIP supporters shouldn't blame labour and other lefties for actions by parties also outside their control.
I wouldn't take what these papers say as gospel, after all they will be pushing their own political slant on a particular story for their own gain, ditto for right wing medias, the "Hope not Hate" campaign is to push their own agenda against Farage, is targeting the wrong pepole what do they hope to achieve by stalking him into every venue and meetings as well as targeting his family, that is a very low way of putting a point across, , now as far as I am aware Farage has never expressed any xenophobic views, after all he has a wife who is German for starters, he wants controlled immigration which I am in favour of with a points system and longer wait before claiming benefits, all of which is a sensible way of reducing the "Draw factor" for bogus asylum seekers and economic migrants.
