This is the resignation letter hand to our DIM today!
The lad in question, has just had enough!
I do have his permission to put this online!
I have taken his address and signature, for security reasons!

Looks to me like a hard working postie, sick of the management within RM, at all levels. Hope he's got a job lined up....

Reading that has brought a lump to my throat, he is right, it does take a very special person to deliver mail in all weathers and remain happy.. I wish you all the best with the future and hope you do well and find somewhere much better to work than here, and im sure a lot of good people that work here will be following in your footsteps in the very near future..

So, Royal Mail lose another good worker. I'm sure all the 'experts' on the newspaper messageboards calling for us to be sacked en masse or advising us all 'if we don't like it, find something else' will be ecstatic. His replacement might not be so conscienscious of course. His replacement might turn out to be a common thief or fraudster of the type that Despatches programme highlighted a couple of years back. If that was the case, I hope the customer he rips off is one of those 'experts'.
