How on earth have we got from a title of, "This Job Sucks". To discussing the merits or otherwise,of the sinking of a ship in a conflict that happened over 33 years ago,that is some tangent we have gone off on here. Meanwhile, the job still sucks , to some degree anyway..

didn't think this would be so political
i'd had a couple of gins on first post but still stand by the header, though tagging our managers with 2 nations leaders/tyrants was a tad harsh.
hitler/thatcher are better as they are both dead
seriously though, the actual job is still the best on offer, a tiny bit of respect wouldn't go a miss,
i tried to give our new manager it, new start and all, and the initial ideas sounded fine,
but what a complete wan'ka!

The job doesn't usually suck, but last week certainly did. Worst ever week without a doubt for us, didn't take a packet from Tuesday onwards and was still over 2hrs over for the week!

unfortunately there's nothing much better going.
had a decent 10 year roller coaster with many battles won & lost.
a new manager with people skills i can only put on par with thatcher/hitler & a union rep like homer simpson
our days are numbered

My manager and union rep are both like a 50/50 mix of Homer Simpson and Montgomery Burns. Both lazy and corrupt. I quite like the job, it's the way our DO is run that gets me down.
