Banbury postman, Calvin Findlay, running the Silverstone Half-marathon in his morphsuit. He will be running the London Marathon in aid of the Stroke Association.
A Banbury postman will be donning a bright orange morphsuit when he takes part in the London Marathon at the end of the month.
Calvin Findlay, 32, of Warwick Road, delivers mail to homes in Mollington and Great Bourton and has been a postman for 15 years.
This year’s marathon, on April 26, will be his third one.
Mr Findlay said having run in costume in previous years, he wanted more of a challenge.
He said: “I decided to go a bit more extreme and wear a morphsuit. It could get quite hot.
“I thought it was unusual. I did the Silverstone Half-marathon in it to make sure it wasn’t too bad.
“You can sort of see through it although it is a bit blurry. You can even drink through it.”
He added he runs a couple of times a week, but his job involved a lot of walking.
The father-of-one is raising money for the Stroke Association because his uncle, Malcolm, had a stroke a few years ago and has now made a full recovery thanks to the Stroke Association.
The association is also Royal Mail’s charity of the year and any money Mr Findlay raises will be matched by his employers. So far, Mr Findlay has raised around £400 for the charity.
