A Berwick postman has made his final deliveries after nearly 42 years’ service with the Royal Mail.
Keith McKerrecher , who for the past 12 years has worked on a round which included the town centre and Marygate, made his final deliveries on Friday.
For over 20 years he has also been the CWU representative at the delivery office in Berwick.
A special presentation was made to him in front of his work colleagues by David Gowland, Royal Mail Delivery Office Manager in Berwick, who said: “Keith is well respected, a great role model and a credit to Royal Mail.
“He is well known around Berwick town and will be sorely missed by his colleagues and customers who wish him all the best for his retirement.”
Looks as if he can hardly stand up.
