Looks like dingo is banging the big base drum for DW. He didn't threaten a ballot, how could he when he had negotiated the clause in the first place and the members had agreed to it. As usual it's bovine excrement to believe the stuff that some people try to put forward as fact when it quite obviously is fiction. If he did threaten IA perhaps he could produce the paperwork to substantiate that threat or was it merely a conversation in camera? As for the scare tactics again, grow up dingo, you sound like henny penny.

fish it is really quite simple ! Read the Report from the select committee that they believe postal workers are inefficient and that any pay rise above inflation would make us even less efficient ! Well inflation stands at zero ! The shareholder wants more profit that's what all shareholders want !

Now the reality is that Royal Mail did want to activate the review Clause and stated this at a meeting early this month ! It is also true that the DGSP announce that he would not accept this and would go to the members ! Royal Mail backed down that is why there is a two week delay in the pay rise.

Of course Dvbuk by all means think that Royal Mail are simply being the generous employer they have always been and given the workforce everything and let's blame the union for all the ills ! Yawn Yawn

Dingo, we aren't stupid so please don't treat us as if we are. The truth is there will be no national industrial action while the legally binding protections remain in place, not even the best salesman in the world could convince the members to risk these protections over a pay review clause that RM were actually adhering to.

Now you know that, I know that, Dave Ward knows that and most importantly the RM board know that so we're expected to believe that the board backed down over a threat they knew was just an empty threat.

Chill dingo, he's a shoe-in for GS anyway just because Billy is so unpopular, you don't need to invent fake battles just to big him up and hoover up a few of the more gullible votes.

Well not really I only worked a few hours a week deliberately taking less and less pay over the last few years and having no mortgage or large outlays knowing my three pensions are adequate to my needs there's only so much money you need. The amount of tax I paid made it less and less beneficial to work.
