Re: good Friday clawback?
what are you on about bank holidays arent on the annual leave sheetzx135 wrote:Converting your annual leave entitlement into hours then looking at it that way the dom is actually technically correct as at end of year you would have had an extra hour or so annual leave as the friday would have creditted you more time off than a monday bank holiday. However our annual leave is not in hours it is in days so the fact that it's a longer or shorter day off is irrelevant

In my case I'm off Monday and he says I need to start half an hour earlier on the Saturday, I've never been told this before and wonder if he's correct or trying it on. Any help appreciated

Re: good Friday clawback?
Statutory minimum is 28 days which may include bank holidays. If you are entitled under your contract to 30 days leave then the 8 day bank holiday are on top are a contractual right not a statutory right.arnold cheshire wrote: where does it say that theres only minimum

Re: good Friday clawback?
I think it was a lack of punctuation. In fact when its used there are different questions, statements and comments, hence confusion is caused.
original wrote:where does it say that theres only minimum
Where does it say that, there is only minimum
Where, does it say that, there is only minimum
Where does it say that there is only minimum
Where does it say that. There is only minimum
Where, does it say, that there is only minimum
All say something different, some more subtly than others. Punctuation avoids doubt.Where. Does it say that. There is only minimum
