I wonder what his debts are, what will he do if he resigns, has he a plan B for future income?

Maybe he has a very large mortgage and a very expensive over sized wife.

Well if he resigns he could ask for his old job back at RM, I'm sure he'd get a glowing reference from the CEO - oh hang on there aren't any telegram boys anymore, nor any bikes and I doubt he'd get a union job - well it'll just have to be the dole queue. :cuppa
