Lets get this straight i don't care....
I don't care if we get a pay rise at all.
I do care if my pensionable age rises from 60 to 65.
I do care if postman do d2d for nothing.
I do care if o/t goes and is replaced by flexibility.
I do care if mtsf goes.
A pay rise is the least of my worries regarding this agreement.

Totally agree. also I don,t want my pension stolen. Talking to just couple of friends outside of the RM they have lost over 20 years of there pensions by there firms going bust, but using the pension funds up all together beforehand. What has been done since Maxwell stole the Mirror pension funds. Not a lot as far as I can make out. Who keeps eye on our funds?

You'd think it wouldn't matter, once a few weeks have gone by you'll average out and everything back to normal. But, I agree. There is something nice about weekly pay.beachy head wrote:monthly pay as well im not looking forward to .
I'm quite happy to get a pay slip monthly (or quarterly) if they'd rather. I know roughly what is supposed to be payed in my account and I always check.

And if you have a problem with pay eg O/T you have to wait another month for it to be sorted. Who gains from monthly pay? RM ofcourse. All that money gaining extra interest monthly instead of weekly.

totally agree, this strike isint about what we are being offered, its about keeping what weve got..so whatever way you look at the outcome of this deal or any other deal,we have lost because royal mail woulve taking something off us what we had to keep.stephen500 wrote:I don't care if we get a pay rise at all.

Within the Mdec I am paid monthly. A bit difficult for the first month as I was not used to it but after that it works out fine, in some ways better because I sort my bills and food shopping out at the start of the month and then whats left over is left over for the rest of the month.beachy head wrote:monthly pay as well im not looking forward to .

I could'nt agree more..I nominate stephen500 as the next DGS, lets get rid of those idiots at the top.
And if that don't work, we should put in a transfer request for Bob Crow.....

Regarding Door to Door
If we stay solid with DOING THE JOB PROPERLY, then we would, assuming they heap D2D on us, be visiting just about every point of delivery on a walk, every day............ Thus be cutting off more and more often.....
I agree with you. Flexibilty is the one that bothers me most. It's a stick to beat us with.
