"We will not be having any work taken out of duties, but we will be adjusting the indoor workload"! We will be having Another Revision at the end of the year (What at Christmas Pressure Time?)

The usual "Mafia" are closing ranks to protect their Favourite Rural Duties. "But I have a hundred more delivery points than him"! Big Deal most of them are Holiday Homes and you never go there.........and when you have no mail for that lonely cottage you save 3 miles driving and 10 minutes messing about!

Remember it's the squeaking wheel that gets the oil! Meanwhile The Quiet Unassuming Postie (not me) gets more added to his Duty and just Quietly gets dumped on again! :arrrghhh
Like all Wage Slaves, he had two crosses to bear: The people he worked for and the people he worked with! (Stephen Vizinczey.)
