STOP DELIVERING DOOR 2 DOOR

Post by chayoliver »

If i remember rightly, was it last year that a postie was suspended because he chose to tell his customers that they had a right to refuse DOOR 2 DOOR leaflets and he ended up with the majority of his round not excepting them ? So you know what to do if your not going to get paid to deliver them tell your customers they dont have to have them :nana

The customer has the right to refuse them ..This guy was only highlighting it by telling them that's what got him into hot water with the management.

In an earlier post i pointed out that D2D's seem to be RM's golden egg and if we are to cease being paid for them i will do everything i can (legally and discretely) to help people opt out of them.

As i said earlier RM will do more good with a carrot than a stick.

If they stop paying us well they can have the stick back and ........

You wont be able to refuse to deliver as RM are making them part of the normal mailbag...how were going to have time to throw them off is a bit odd.

We cant refuse to deliver them but they are optional for customers to receive and let me think

how many customers want them?

what if they knew how they could stop them?

I leave the rest to you

Is there a D2D opt out form available on here? That'd be a start. A lot of us sympathetic customers would do it, and I'd point mates to it as well etc.

Our Office has a poster which says that something like 90%(not sure of the actual figure I'll check it on wednesday) of customers not only read d2d's but also pass them on to friends,Must have a load of Friends at the local recycling centre then.
What a crock of Sh***.

I thought D2D was unaddressed mail so just putting them in an envelope does not make them addressed mail and as such i am sure they can still opt out of them.

But lets not jump the gun just yet we shall have to see if we are still to be paid for them; cos if we are i have to agree that they are a valuable and desired mailing for our customers (not)
