It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

Not saying much is he, though I would imagine he will be stating how the business is travelling through a difficult commercial time and that there will have to be changes which you are going to have to suck up. :cuppa

The people who don't make sure that modernisation takes place, who don't ensure the correct equipment is used, that part time employees continually work more than their contracted hours, that don't adhere to the agreements on lapsing those are the ones who are most to blame.
