It is confusing, the US ones don't seem to need signing for, just scan and deliver, we get loads from the locker and loads more seem to come through with the normal mail, nobody knows why. I scan everything and do what the PDA indicates, assuming it hasn't died by then.

What does management say to do? i'd rather go with that then, if and more likely when we play the blame game they made the decision not me.

Depends what manager you ask, ask 3 of them and get 3 different answers. You cannot expect consistancy when they make it up as they go along.

If its in your package bag then it's not been scanned so don't scan it. Life's too short m8y. Any problems tell your manager you can't read Chinese. The majority are fakes anyway.

New development in Chinese packets. There is normally more than one barcode on the label and the correct one was identified by the number with the two letters at either end. Now I'm getting packets with the barcode and "No Tracking" underneath it. Ah there is no tracking number under the barcode it doesnt need scanning. Ah but what is this hidden in the customs information senders signature bit, several boxes away from the barcode that apparently doesnt need scanning? Why it's that all important tracking number that they don't want you to scan so they don't have to pay.

I thought the only foreign stuff we scan comes from the phg/locker.

Why do certain international items end up in the locker but the vast majority don't?

Like the US items, supposedly gets 'Special Delivery' status and doesn't even need a signature??
