we have wtl every week, apart from when there is a lot of mail then it gets cancelled

they are a pain nobody says anything in them and this week its going to be all propaganda about the ballot and how royal mail cant afford to pay us

whoever invented wtl was having a joke, in fact at our place we have nicknamed it early learning :nana :nana :nana

wtl and the dvd

Post by vigilante »

beware people.
management, if you didn't know and you probably do are going to force us to watch a propoganda dvd because
their wonderful plasma telly network dosen't work!!!
waste of flipping money.
I was sent by my area rep a list of questions to fire at the manager at the end which i hope he won't be able to cope with the
answers. lol.
A speaker from the CWU head office told us to take a paper in and read!!!
If the manager complains just say you are listening, you don't have to watch.
(It is on your own back if you take this advise) but thay can't do nothing to you because you are listening.
remember wtll means work time learning and listening not let's listen to rm propoganda only session.

solidaity, vote yes if you still want a job.

Work Time Learning- depends on office. My DOM used to get members to rate it 1-10 ( he averaged 4 ), then started to let me or my Sub-rep do it. (not national ops brief) Somewhat suprisingly we averaged 8- as our Senior OPG said 'you tell us what's happening, not just what the management want'. pad

Yes have to put up with 20-40 minutes of this too every Tuesday, when they showed Allan Leighton DVD last week I sat behind someone who's head blocked my view and let the rest go over my head.
