I think the membership has a right to know the future of the DGSP position, If Dave has such a proven track record why would we want to lose him from the negotiating table to hobnob with the champagne socialists at Labour HQ, exactly who will be in the frame to replace him, and what will Dave's position be with regards to the Labour NEC if he's promoted to Most Exhalted Glorious Supreme Leader of the CWU.
good times, bad times you know I've had my share

It's surley called democracy my friend ! That's like saying no one should have stood ainst winston Churchill because he was the leader in ww2 ! Or Liverpool must keep Steven Gerrard even thou he will be 35 next season ! It's called evolution ! But I can't understand why Mr Hayes who is entitled to another year wants to stay. Maybe I'm missing something or is there some kind of union fiddle or pay off going on ! Suspicious I am

I'm voting for Tsipras.
The societies of consumption and squandering of material resources are incompatible with the idea of economic growth and a clean planet.

What he really said General was "will there be nuts at the buffet" to be told only when you get there.

Snow chains are more interesting than this non election, whoever wins will create their own little empire, whilst we get sold down the river.......again.

Well by all accounts DW has been in charge for the last 14 years and been making all the decisions and negotiating whilst BH has been on the sidelines as a bystander. So if anyone thinks that has been strong leadership...................... :cuppa

Hardly, nobody north of Watford is remotely interested. We all know what happens to pre-election promises of rectifying the errors of the past because there is a vested interest in keeping things exactly as they are.
