Boozer

Honestly, he tried to maintain that work and pub were different environments. Tried to talk to various individuallists of us at the bar and when realising the only response he would get was "f off" moved to another table. Fortunately we know these guys (vaguely) and after having a quiet word - in a fag break otside the pub- these guys (being honest working guys) understood. No longer seen in any pub in town at the moment. But still crossed the line everyday of the last 4-day. No excuse - no wife/girlfriend, no kids, just likes to take holidays.

The fecking same up here no kids, morgage young dicks that dont know better.Probably first job.TWATS. :lfo :cfo :lfo :cfo

There are around 20 strike breakers in our office, I have no intention of speaking to any of them ever again. We're all in the same boat, losing pay with much more to lose, a defeatest attitude helps no one.

scab

Post by ray of sunshine »

i have stopped talking to the 7 strike breakers that have been going in on every strike day.
One such scab who i call "untouchable". went in on the last 4 days and has been on my walk all week.
I probably will get complaints about him when i go back on tuesday.
He was covering my walk while i was on maternity leave,
When i got back, on the saturday everyone was coming out shouting"she's back!!!!!"
I felt like the messah had risen!
I hope the posties in MY DO have long memories as before this latest batch of strikes, people were talking to the strike breakers as though they were best buddies :no no
just wait until tuesday "UNTOUCHABLE", i'M BACK! :nana :Applause :Applause :Applause :Applause

I plan to work any other strike days too as I don'think striking will make any difference. The union has got all it's going to get.

I will not be thanking anyone because you will NOT get anymore !!!

Blackleg Bob, feeling isolated yet?

We won't forget your backstabbing, you're forever a SCAB, your children will be children of a SCAB other children will ostracise them all due to your selfishness.

How does it feel to be hated by your colleagues?

I hope your remaining years are a living hell, you're the lowest of the low.

What's it like when people turn their backs on you?

Sorry I have to boast here. My DO 285 of us.

No strike breakers what so ever, at any time. 100% out every strike day. I am proud of the Huddersfield Lads and Lasses.

Thanks for wishing us well but it does appear you were a defeatist not a realist.

scab pt 2

Post by ray of sunshine »

It doesnt help that UNTOUCHABLE doesnt do the following:
say good morning to anyone even my customers
missorts all over the place
walks around listening to his music on his mobile
totally ignores everyone

quote from one customer when UNTOUCHABLE knocked on the door to get a customer to look after next door's mail.
"I have had everyone's elses mail delivered through my door this week one more wont make more difference..."

All the strike breakers are sticking together, as no one else is talking to them. :Applause :Applause :Applause

I can only say I am so glad that not everyone holds your spineless opinion. What kind of firm would we work for if we all shared your attitude? I know this much, every benifit from breaks, allowances, sick pay to having free shoes provided has not been given to us via the benevolence of Royal Mail. It's all been fought and negotiated by the very people you are now sh***ing on. Do you really think that nothing will be won or are you just trying to justify you greedy spineless attitude? My wife worked for Asda under Leightons reign and I can tell you that you have no idea what is in store for us if we all shared your pathetic defeatist attitude. At least we're showing him he's met his match, I don't think he's dealt with a union before, (not that he has this time judging by the lack of appearances he's made to negotiate) and certainly after this I don't think he will ever want to again. Did he honestly think he could break a strike with a video telling us he doesn't bulls**t? Shows what he thinks of us, we're so dumb we're impressed by a man who says "bulls**t", I think not. Not to digress... I don't and I wouldn't expect thanks from you... like most strikebreakers you're happy for others to fight and sacrifice for you. You will happily reap any benefit gained from the stance made by the working man. So as for a thankyou... I don't think you know what it means. RobertT you are truely a pathetic individual... roll over boy!
Remember, the way you do you job will affect colleagues for years to come - if you cut corners to do it quick, they will be expected to as well....and then RM will add extra work to fill the gaps.
