Don't be surprised when you start getting a bundle of lapsing on Saturdays, if you are purposefully delivering Saturday's D2D Mon-Fri to try and finish early on Saturday, regardless of whether it is a bank holiday week or not.

Don't prep them in my own time (will do overtime to prep them, though new management is less likely to sign off on that alas) but show me the difference between throwing them in on work's time the day before and on the day in question? I forget the actual wording, but the last communication from management was you could throw them in on the day before, on the day first or on the day last as you preferred but to avoid screwing over the day-off floaters the D2Ds for them where to be thrown in the day before. (Which I figured meant the floaters should throw in the next days, unless agreed otherwise with the duty holder.)
Don't see a problem with prepping the following days Households Coke, IF you come back early and IF you've got some duty time left. In fact it's a good way for the Manager to Utilise All available Hours. :whistle
What I think is stupid is when Posties finish smack on time, or even a bit late, and then sit there for an hour plus throwing off next weeks Households, just so they can get out the door a bit earlier on the following Monday! They've just given an hours work FOR FREE to RM! :arrrghhh To those guys I'd say, ....."Just don't complain when they say your Duty's having some more work added to it"! :cuppa

As for 'nesting' what sodding difference does it make? The bloody things disperse in the flight between letterbox and doormat anyway :dance

crap... you try dropping a nested bundled of d2d's... they don't disperse at all.... stop trying to cut corners and handing rm the opportunity to say the job takes less time to do than it really does... :evil/mad (apart from it being bad for the d2d paying customer) :evil/mad
Well you ain't doing it right then. Say you've got 3 or 4 other craplets inside the biggest one (Dominos for example) and you hang on briefly to the back edge of the Dominos one before you push it the final inch, you'll feel all the other craplets slide out onto the floor. Only exception admittedly is the floor-level box.
how much time does that take you... flimsy d2ds get all twisted unless you fold them anyway... no way can you hang on to the 'back edge' and feel them slip out.... where your post-it-peg anyway dangling fingers through letter box??!!

An hour before finishing time on a Saturday? How? Pretty sure an observant manager would spot this and query how when I guess traffic figures show you shouldnt be. Why can't you take an hours worth of work from others who would like to just finish on time Saturday?

1 - Take off the sticky label and then place D2D items in an area as far away from your frame as possible.
2 - After several weeks the DOM will notice this and will take action.
3 - This action usually involves prepping these items into the frames of the walks that are being lapsed. Although sometimes it can mean traying them up and sending them back to the MC as excess.
4 - All D2D's have been confirmed as delivered by the DOM so there is no comeback.

Hope this helps.
