Wasn't Saturday 26th 2009 a non service day (with no annual leave credit if it was your long weekend off), with Monday 28th the official bank holiday (which would give a credit)?

Ridiculous discussion. It's over a year away and if anyone here worked when this last happened you'll already know 25th and 26th were and are days off for us as is the Monday.

Utter nonsense. Boxing day is 26th December every year and is a public holiday. Just because it's on a Saturday which means Monday is an extra bank holiday has no bearing on boxing day.

Utter nonsense. Boxing day is 26th December every year and is a public holiday. Just because it's on a Saturday which means Monday is an extra bank holiday has no bearing on boxing day.

Wrong! In 2015 the 28th is the official bank holiday for boxing day, the 26th will be a normal working day and I can't see RM applying for a non-service day for the 26th
