DHL chancers

Our DOM gave us a brief this morning about them. If any are found, we are to return them to the MC to be surcharged.
I know I have already delivered at least 1.

What exactly do we look for on them? Is it simply "delivered by RM " missing from them? Or is there something else that distinguishes them from ours?
Dont want to sound to naive but surely DOMS should really be explaining how to spot them quickly because the whole DSA debacle really winds me up

I think the label looks different but its deffo the missing "delivered by RM" part. I am sure I delivered a couple of small dvd sized ones last week.

They are pretty easy to spot actually even with the DHL label being small. It is a black band across the top of normal Amazon address label

I found a DPD packet once. I think they'd rather it was sent back to them and not delivered otherwise it looks like it's lost on their system.

This has been my second day of actually looking for these items and guess what? Found one today on my delivery, missed it in the office but spotted it on delivery. Brought it back, showed DOM support and told him that it is likely we will miss hundreds of these in our our office alone over the xmas period, unless posties are made more aware of the problem. Im hoping that something will be done, at least locally, as DSA items, in general, dont half give me the hump

so basically dhl have a contract with amazon (new) and they reckon they can just shove them in with other items as dsa and try to get out of paying. amazon wont be happy when all their customers start asking for refunds on postage

How do DHL, the customer or Amazon know where they are if they are in our system?

Can anyone 100% confirm that these DHL packets should be in our system or not?
The reason I ask is because I kicked off about them this morning to my DOM , but she wasnt sure what to do about them .After a minute of two consultation with DOM support, she told us all that they were not to be delivered and handed into the locker. In total, 32 packets were handed in (thats from the posties who could be arsed ).
This amount was one days worth, in a relatively small office, an awful lot If this was multiplied around the country, we are looking at thousands, every single day!!!
Therefore, I may be wrong, but Im beginning to doubt that they have been mistakenly come into the system and they are in fact, some sort of DSA or internationally agreed delivery items. So, is anyone 100% certain about these items because if they shouldnt be in our system, I reckon that this has saved DHL ££££££££'s,how much we will never really know.

Was sorting parcels this morning on overtime and was told by the boss to keep any of these packets aside as they would be getting surcharged.

how hard is it really, for a dom to ring up his boss and find out from the top what the deal with these are

I've seen too many now to consider it an accident. DHL must have paid to get them delivered.

they look like they were posted abroad from say amazon.it i had one today with yodel in small writing on the right hand side of the label which was totally different from that packet shown

Had one today. I've probably missed a few already before I saw this htread. Marked it 'to be surcharged' and put it back in the system. They have no RM mark on at all.

its great that you all are being diligent and not wanting to deliver these packages, but where is our management pointing this kind of stuff out ? this would be an ideal topic for WTL
