How the hell can we still have members believing that Delivery Supplement is linked to D2Ds, all these years on?

Any OPG that has a contract less than 39 hours gets a pro rata amount of the full time Delivery Supplement of ~£23 per week.

If a part time OPG claims any overtime, they are paid at SSPR rate, which is made up of the basic hourly rate (~£10 per hour) AND a pro rata extra amount of Delivery Supplement (to give overall ~£11 per hour), so if a part timer does 39 hours total they get the same wage as a full timer.

is that a fact.....the money we are paid for delivery supplement and mail centre supplement is money generated by door to door income. the new agreement says we are no longer paid for d2ds as this is now into the workload. this new 'spin' puts paid to the pro-rata argument.

It isn't based on money generated by D2D, otherwise it could/would go down .....or up.
However it remains static, only increasing in line with pay rises.

wether I think its an injustice or not is immaterial. we get delivery supplement because of d2d. if d2d was done away with then so would our delivery supplement.

No it wouldn't - we still get paid Del Supp when we have no D2Ds, and its part of an agreement that it will increase in line with pay every year.


Will we get it forever, I seriously doubt that but as far as I can see if we ever stop doing D2D they can't stop Del Sup just for that reason.

when we have no door to doors we still get delivery supplement because rm are still being paid d2d money. there are thousands of d2d at other offices when you , i or someone else isn't getting them. it increases every year because its in the workload, and it was agreed. but make no mistake, if we lost d2d, then we'd lose del sup end of.
