The deal is all but done. PEC Seems a formality by sources are tight lips. I think you guys know given my previous posts that if I know i'll post it

I will maintain my faith in my brothers until that moment, and then i will persue them for evermore: and so will the strike breakers after being informed they will have to work till 16.30 for no extra money

One thing I do know is Leighton and Crozier set out to destroy us and we've stood strong and ruined their union crushing CVs.

The main thing is that whatever happens WE took on the Government, Businesses and two of the biggest bullies ever in British industry and we're still here fighting!

I'd give it a couple of months and Leighton and Crozier will be gone. They won't go yet because it will be obvious why but their days are numbered. Just look at Croziers body language in recent interviews. Leighton is nowhere to be seen. We taught them they're not in ASDA anymore!!!

There is nothing better in life than knowing you've stood shoulder to shoulder with your colleagues and stopped what would have been the end of our industry.

so I say whatever comes Monday will not please everyone and never will. But i'm proud and I think we all should be

DEFEAT is one step backwards, one reduction in our terms and conditions, 0.1% reduction in our wage slip , because come next april they will be back for ten times more

We still have to vote no this but you are right we took the fight to them we will never be defeated!!!.

............Absolutely,we`ve come too far and lost too much money .RM are bricking it.Christmas is getting closer and we hold all the aces.I fear a quick fix and in the new year more grief.

Well well well - I am going to be so interested in what the new improved negotiated deal is -

For me personally - De couple the pension from the pay deal
Remove slave labor under the name of Flexible working.
Remove annualized banked hours.

Reality - they have gained nothing bar a thirty minuet flexi time shift day to day.
CARE - career average related earnings still in place - option of adding years on up to the retirement age of 65
Union members are sailing up the creek with out a paddle.

Hope it is good news but depressingly think its not. I hope I am wrong. This summer and Autumn has been a real roller-coaster. But having come this far if necessary will vote no to any deal I feel de values us and me personally.

The ending of the dispute is good news if conditions are met. I as a rep have felt totally useless towards our members over this dispute, with no information to give them. Sick and tired of the top boys wanting us to do the groundwork, asking us about the strength of feeling amongst our staff on the shop floor. Then nothing. Come December I wonder how many reps decide not to stand again, I for one feel let down by the union hierarchy.

I am getting battle weary, thinking of having a break for a year from being rep. Time somebody else had a crack at being rep.
