I quite like the new cards and find them easier to hold when writing out. I can't understand why they swapped the date and time over - I keep writing it in the wrong place and then put an arrow to 'swap' them back over.
Also I don't like the 24hr collection, our office had no problem with people collecting within 30 mins of me getting back to the office. That is a massive drop in service quality.

I agree the collect next day on the card does seem odd at our office.
The callers office I work in is open till 5:30pm mon-fri. All our town
deliveries and a fair number of rurals are back in the office by 3ish
and we tend to be busy every afternoon once the schools close as
people pick up their items at the same time as their kids. We have
always put the number of hours the customer should leave before
coming down to collect so this does seem a bit of a backward step.

Biggest fault with them is that there is no place to say how many hours to leave before collecting your item. Loads will turn up while posties are still out delivering.

Only those that don't read as, as with the old ones, because it says next day. And some will go on the Sunday when it's shut.

Nope, Tracked items are scanned at every point; Delivered Scanned are only scanned at the doorstep.

Our lino's want us to write 'Delivered Scanned' on the new forms.

Seeing as a Special costs at least £6.40 to send it's a bit hopeless to say the recipient [who might be just taking the kids to school, for example] can't get it till the following day. Defeats the object of being a Special surely?.

Indeed.
I think most of the Special Deliveries I return, and many of the Signed Fors and Tracked, are collected the same day :Very Happy which can be most helpful and having to wait til the next day will be a significant reduction in service.

Not enough room to write the address and postcode, meaning that you have to try to write it in that small space, and it ends up being unreadable.

Does anybody else agree?
personally i wrote out over 35 today, scrawl not very readable after the first few but got it down to a few seconds each :chuckle :chuckle

That's exactly what I tick, if they want 'Delivered Scanned' marked on them they'll have to add it.

Not all Park and Loopers use a trolley. I drop off the passenger and drive around doing about 4 or 5 small loops that don't need a trolley, and/or the area isn't suitable for one. Sometimes I use a bag, often just carry a bundle. I usually have to put it on the ground when I write out a card.

All details should be onjust oneside of the card, not both. Plus postcode gap is not big enough. Still someone probs got paid £K's' for the re-design
