My sister in law works in a post office, has done for over 20 years. When someone asks about the special delivery service on a Friday they have always and still do say that for the normal price it's guaranteed by 1pm Monday but for an extra charge it's guaranteed 1pm Saturday. not rocket science is it??

The system won't care if it's a foreign special, normal special or a SG special, it'll see any special not attempted by 13:00 that doesn't have an offical retention in place as a failure.

It's either a money making scam by Royal Mail or one huge blag to make us deliver all specials before 13:00 on a Saturday.

Anyhow, has anyone actually been pulled up for delivering a normal special after 13:00 on a Saturday?
