Driver Retraining

Having returned to work in the last 14 weeks due to an operation I have been informed that as I have not driven a 7.5 tonne vehicle(or any other) in the last 12 months I will require 7.5 tonne retraining.
However I have driven every other type since returning.

My question is should I have been retrained on all vehicles or just a 7.5 tonne or can I simply get back into a 7.5 tonne vehicle and drive(I have my cpc card etc)?

As you hold your driver qualification card for completion of the 5 modules and you have not been removed from 7.5 tonne vehicles or any other RM vehicle due to a blameworthy accident then the retraining is unnecessary and would inform your union rep of RM decision and ask to see in black and white the ruling on this.

My union rep(area) informed me he didn't know but thought the manager did!
