Hey all was just wondering if for the Xmas temp job not angard do they send you a text a couple of days before starting?

Well I am supposed to be starting on Tuesday at 6am in Middleton but I have heard ZILCH, i'm just gonna turn up and I will kick off if they turn me away after 5 weeks of waiting for my security clearance to be done ( and still not heard ). Don't think RM send you a text TBH.

It would just be nice to have a confirmation after such a long wait since the interview event! Just to know alls good and still the same start date etc

Have you used the Christmas Causal Helpline and forward the email " Offer of Royal Mail Christmas Role" christmas_helpline@royalmail.com or telephoned 0845 600 1785 yet about start date error in your email.

The letter you got at recruitment day registration event with your start date and time will be ok.

You will also get in the post welcome letter of 4 pages I received it a few days ago.

I didn't phone the phone line was hoping all ok got the 4 page letter through the post with payroll number on etc. it it dosent say the start date on that does yours ?

The start date is def on the offer letter you got at the event, not sure about the 4-page welcome pack - still not received that, I've just been on a dummy run to the Middleton site, spoke to a security guy at the warehouse, he said just turn up before 6am with my letter ( free parking - bonus! ).

No the 4 page letter will not quote the your start date and time

The offer letter you got at recruitment day registration event in the correct start date and time.
