On Saturday, I had a card left stating that my parcels (Addressed to my business premises) had been left with a neighbour (didn't think business parcels were allowed to be left at residentials?) After 5 failed attempts to retrieve my parcels, the person claimed she only had 3, not the 4 stated on the card. 2 of the parcels I did retrieve were in bubble envelopes, but had been tampered with and resealed with selotape, the 3rd was wrapped in a way the you could not possibly tamper with it without it being obvious and impossible to re wrap and seal. The 4th, she is denying knowledge of.
How do I find out how many items were definitely delivered and if she is withholding one, how do I get it back? Can the postman who delivered it retrieve it? Who would I need to speak to in order to get evidence should I need to report it to the police?

Business premises are not included in the "deliver to neighbour" scheme so these items should not have been delivered there
with the deliver to neighbour scheme, if any items are delivered to a neighbour and are subsequently lost/stolen or damaged then you need to make a claim for these items and the claim is dealt with the same way as claims as if it was your home address within the terms and conditions of the service used ie first class etc
