Induction - start date, how long?

Post by anonymous1994 »

I was at an induction yesterday the 6th and I was wondering when roughly I'd be starting, we weren't given a start date or shift patterns to pick from etc. and never have been throughout the hiring process. I thought it would be next week or soon but it seems it may be as long away at the start of december. I know it differs due to traffic in each warehouse so it's the distribution centre at netherton industrial estate in wishaw, incase anyone is familiar with their schedule.

Rough estimates are appreciated

I got a text this morning, then a phonecall about 10 mins ago asking me to work today.

I turned it down so hopefully they've moved onto you.

They did, 1100 - 1700?

I took it, but it's not like it's much notice, i hope they're not all like that.

Yeah 11-5, it's a bit short notice and I had stuff to do today.

I don't have an ID badge yet either.

Only took me 10 years as a FT to get one.

It came in the post today, obviously it had to happen just after I made this post and sent enquiries to Angard and Reed to find out where it was :d'oh!
