Just heard the same on news 24. Trying to work out the reasons. Are they working out the best way of selling a poor deal?

They've announced the strikes have been suspended for Mon and Tue - maybe that was the announcement and not a deal.

As always it's a f*cking shambles.

How stupid does the union look?

How poorly have they performed?

If CWU made a mistake then no amount of fancy lawers or money will change that,

To quote Bill Paxton in Aliens "Game over man, game over!"
Whatever the deal it'll get voted in. Remember the way forward? I've still to this day find anyone that voted in its favour. Yet that got voted in.
No announcement tonight. Means they're trying to word it so we don't all walk out. It's gonna be a s**t deal, mark my words, we're in for the biggest shafting since John Holmes was making films.
Time for us to get ourselves measured for the new uniform addition. Ball and chain for every postperson. Time to forget about any sort of life outside of work. We are theirs to do with what they want at the slightest drop of a hat.
Sorry to be so pessimistic, but it's hard not to be when you're halfway down s**t creek without a paddle while the people who should be defending us are stood on the riverbank shouting you'll be ok.
