Indeed, the negotiations have been proceeding concurrently with this court action. I agree with what most are saying, wait for more strikes to be announced, shouldn't take long, wait to see what kind of a deal has been done, and people must remember WE have the last say as whether a deal goes through or not, if we think it's a s**t deal then we need to work hard for a no vote. The union must be made to realise that WE the MEMBERS are the union and not the top few people.

Lets all wait and see what has taken place after the `smoke` clears. As yet we have no firm details just speculation.
What I would just like to say at this moment
is as a couple of others have said, I believe what saved this Union last time was the Unofficial Strikes in London, and for that a big thank you. This time round they have been joined by other parts of the Country and we will all have our own opinions on the rights and wrongs of unofficial strikes. But I do think that these `Wildcat Strikes`have made R/mail really understand the degree of hostility that the `workforce`have for these two chaps at the top. And for the people in those parts of the country who `participated` it took a lot of courage.
As I said lets not divide ourselves, if the `deal` is not right we have a vote, and we will have a chance to use it. A few month`s ago the `Company gave us no chance! WE HAVE ALL changed that. The company now know we will not just roll over.

Radio 4 1030 news
been on radio 4 -supposed to be some deal on flexibility that the union are confident about . Their news is comparably fair ,union source quoted , 12 hrs of talks , anger over flexibility around the country was mentioned .
