I started 2 weeks ago with 3 other new posties, All of them quit in the first few days and I was sorely tempted to do the same. The job is HARD, especially to someone coming into it from an office job or something non physical. I don't think enough is done to relieve pressure on newbies and so people leave. My office is extremely short staffed but they can't get anyone to stay!Chelseablue wrote:Out of curiosity our office is very short staffed too, bin told it's hard to get anyone to be a posty now ! Or stick it. Is you're office short staffed too ppl?

Re: JOBS TO PHYSICAL NOW
The points coming thru is that the loops are to big ,then surely they should be modified either offically or by common-sense,also the work load between the workers in a van differs this cant be right.i may be naive but the work should be shared 50/50 hence making the loop smaller would be easy ,but i bet the Post office dont want that always pitting man against man is always the way to go for them .
