Inspirational stroke survivor presented with bespoke smiler stamp on ITV
Poet and stroke survivor Jodi Ann Bickley received a £5,000 gift from Royal Mail on ITV’s Surprise Surprise this week, to help in her mission to touch the hearts of others through her writing.
Jodi, from Birmingham, was twenty-four years old when she suffered a stroke and brain infection which robbed her of her ability to write.
She learned to write again in secret and she set up a website for people who would like to receive a letter full of love and encouragement.
The £5,000 donation will enable her to send thousands of letters using a bespoke smiler stamp with the words ‘one million lovely letters,’ created by Royal Mail.

Jodi was presented with an enlarged version of her smiler stamp on Wednesday night’s Surprise Surprise show.
She took to Twitter to show her appreciation, saying: ‘Thank you so much to the @RoyalMail for making the OMLL first class stamp, it's absolutely magical.’
