1. INCREASE ON PAYMENT ON THEM
2. AS LONG AS THEY WHERE MANAGABLE TO DELIVERY (NO F@@KIN PENS)
3. GOT PAID ON TIME FOR THEM
4. GET RID OF THESE TWO CLOWNS.......... :lfo :cfo

1. INCREASE OF PAYMENTS FOR THEM
2. AS LONG AS THEY ARE MANAGEABLE TO DELIVER, E.G. NO AWKWARD OBJECTS, SUCH AS BALLPOINT PENS
3. GOT PAID FOR THEM ON TIME
4. REPLACE THESE TWO :lfo :cfo WITH PEOPLE WHO WILL LISTEN TO US
ALTHOUGH THEY DON'T SEEM TO CARE ENOUGH ABOUT ROYAL MAIL STAFF: THEY STILL SEEM TO GET REWARDED.
Think the 3 contracts a week is enough myself. They are time consuming to prep, and take up valuable space on your bike and in your bags. The money is handy, but there's a limit to everything. Definitely think we should get paid for ALL we do, not what RM are considering, ie 5 and get paid for 3. They also distort the traffic figures immensely as they are not counted in traffic, which makes a farce of RMs claims on the daily traffic in your office, cos it is 20 higher, if you use the 20% per day rule.

I think posties should be allowed to knock them back if they don't want to do them.
The biggest discrace with D2D's is the pay on them...it's been the same for many years and never rise's - 1.67p (i think).
Also, on D2D subject - since RM have suspended them for 3 weeks, we should all refuse to do them in future unless we get an upgrade in payment for them.
D2D is a big income for RM, so let's f**k them up even more!

Just make them an offer they can't refuse

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been. My BFF Clash The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.
A seperate Royal Mail dept should be set up that deals solely with door to doors, whereas workers are employed solely to deliver them and let them do as many as they want as long as they are getting paid no less than the minimum 1.67p per leaflet. Asking us Posties to deliver umpteen amounts of d2d with the mail along with nil/reduced payment is just not on. I personally find them a pain in the backside, and customers forever moan about them.

You could employ one person to do the D2Ds for 5 walks - give them 30 hr contracts, pay them the same as us, get them started at 10am when we're all out the door & give them as many D2Ds as RM & the Union like....more money into the Service, more workers ( hopefully more Union members too ) & new jobs created for drivers ( or more work to secure drivers jobs ) - what's not to like? Oh yeah, it's a sensible idea, that requires an investment in an untested idea - two reasons why it will never happen, irrespective of the potential returns
I don't suppose your mouth bleeds every 28 days, does it?
Mail delivery; those that can, do, those that can't, MANAGE!
