I've not heard from them in 3 weeks, casually looking for more work yesterday and saw that they're still advertising for more people.

Have you any annual leave you can use this week to book a day's holiday and pause the six week clock or you will be back to minimum wage. I'd give payroll a ring if you do have some holiday owing to see if you can use it at short notice to pause the clock and what's the minimum hours you have to book for it to pause the clock eg 8 hours.

Took 16 hours holiday last week ( turns out i was missing a pay slip so only onto my 4th week now
Anyone working out of Belfast/Mallusk getting any shifts?
Ive been with angard around a year now
Getting sick to death of hearing the same person tell me there are no shifts every day, if they even bother to answer the phone that is
Last text message i had was the 3rd of September and that was a shift for Aberdeen!
Just find it hard to believe that there are 0 shifts going for an entire month when Christmas is around the corner and the xmas casuals are getting start dates
Edit:
Are you saying that if i take holiday hours the 6 week timer will reset?

No, you will still be on 4 weeks, by taking holiday you have stopped the clock not reset it.

Thanks for the info
Turns out a select few are getting weekends no problem
Think its time for a new job, sitting here with nothing and being lied to about shifts
Not surprised really

Re: xmas con
8 of us casuals got contracted for christmas so thats probably why the shifts dried up. Friday was my first shift in 5 weeks also.
