Applied through RM, got interview with Angard

Hi everyone,

I applied for a Christmas Casual, attended the registration event, got checked out, ID photo taken etc. Told I'd get no contact unless I failed checks and just to turn up at the time my contract says. Today, get a text from RM saying Angard want to interview me and an email saying:

We would like to invite you to a recruitment event where a member of our team will take copies of your documents and confirm your application details.

Before you book into the recruitment event please take the time to read the below attachment and ensure you are able to provide the correct documentation required. If you are unable to provide the documentation please do not book into the event as we will be unable to progress your application.

Please follow the link below to book the time and date of the recruitment event online. Please be aware spaces are limited and if you are unable to book into the event you will be invited to the next one.

I logged on and booked one but I don't know if this is a separate application that I don't think I made (I applied last year thru Angard). My main application says "PROCESSING SECURITY CHECKS DS"

So, does anyone know what this registration event/interview is actually for?

Just realised it's for a Casual Mail Sorter I applied for in July... is it worth attending to get try get work after Christmas or just forget about it?

it cant do any harm. But dont count on getting much work after xmas though

Do both, by the time they realise the christmas period will be over and you'll be able to work through Angard (if you're lucky enough to get shifts )
