It has nothing to do with 7 day notice being given. It is because the union didn't list members who would be striking (a legal requirement)

Withdrawing from work, due to adverse concerns/conditions is a basic human right.

This will set off alarms bells in all trade unions - a high court judge has banned strike action??

Union f****d up monday and tuesday strikes. Another lesson to be learnt I guess.

Best to wait for official notification from the Union.

This was a High Court judge for England and Wales who ruled? Scots law & judiciary is surely different, albeit we are all still under the UK.

Wonder if a loophole could be found for us Jocks, under Scots Law..

Bloody hell. What a cock up by the PEC. Is there no one in the backrrom staff who knows what they are doing? We are paying these prats and they keep on making cock ups.

After this dispute, if there is still a union, there must be a total overhaul of union HQ. Particularly, we must bring in 'experts' from outside sources. It is obvious that Dave and Billy do not have the nouse to deal with 'experts' like AL & AC.

A major blip but we must tell Dave & Billy not to sell us out. The issues are the same and we the membership will decide what agreements we will accept.

Please excuse my ignorance, I've only been in the job a short while.

The strike planned for next week Monday 15-> was a 'rolling strike' for the whole week, various departments on strike at different times.
As a postman I was to be striking on the Tuesday.

Where does this '48 hour' strike come from? It's on ceefax, or is that just the media getting it wrong?

What this has done,and RM are probably unaware of this, is that even more anger and frustration has been caused. Not very good when you have 100,000+ posties f****d off as it is.
