f**k all to do with unofficial IA then.Royal Mail’s injunction claims that the union had given flawed notification of the strikes. Although the union gave notice within the proper timeframe of a week, proper notification also requires that every workplace affected is properly detailed. Royal Mail’s solicitors provided a 15-page petition to the High Court saying that the notification was not filed properly.

Everybody needs to read this article and a previous one dated 27/8 that seem to explain our predicament very clearly - but give (':cfo')
crozierfuckoffn the situation we find ourselves in - where can we find a resolution?

IF BILLY OR THE P.E.C. HAVE REALY FCUKED UP ON THIS ONE I THINK THE GAME IS UP FOR THESE ARSEHOLES. HOW MANY TIMES ARE WE THE MEMBERS GOING TO ALLOW THIS UNION TO BECOME THE LAUGHING STOCK OF THE UNION FERTERNITY.
WE ALL KNOW THE MISTAKES THEY HAVE MADE IN THE RUNNING OF THIS DISPUTE AND THE DECISION THEY MADE ON THE N.I. NO 1 BRANCH, TO DISBAND THE BRANCH IN THE MIDDLE OF A DISPUTE. HOW MUCH LONGER MUST WE STAND IDLEY BY AND WATCH THE INCOMPETENCE OF THESE PEOPLE RUIN THIS UNION.
IF THE COURTS WIN THIS ONE AND WE DONT RESPOND WE ARE IMOP f****d.
STAND AND FIGHT OR DIE
ONWARED AND UPWARDS

I'm 99% sure this will be it - business pages might be bastards but they don't lie often. Almost definitely a similar issue to the one that had airports and MDECs (?) out on completely the wrong days in August.Royal Mail’s injunction claims that the union had given flawed notification of the strikes. Although the union gave notice within the proper timeframe of a week, proper notification also requires that every workplace affected is properly detailed. Royal Mail’s solicitors provided a 15-page petition to the High Court saying that the notification was not filed properly.

So if that's right - it almost certainly means that some offices will be excluded from action like they were last time. This may still allow all offices that were properly detailed to strike as planned in which case media are just repeating Royal Mail spin on how much effect an injunction would have.
That's best case scenario if there's been a f**k up by Hayes/Ward in the notice. If it's the same problem as last time, it should've been fixed by CWU executive - it's quite understandable Royal Mail wouldn't go to court last time because they knew it would piss people off, they may think they have nothing to lose now in terms of inflaming things so are going to go full-on hardball.

Like 'em or loathe 'em ,you got to hand to them two sneaky rats, they kept that one up their sleeves until the last minute. This is either going to knock the moral down yet another peg or stimulate the workforce into a rageing anger.
Who's gonna get an arse kicking for this balls up.Managers are going to be pissing themselves at the staff and i fear some micky taking, lets hope not.
So i feel RM have slipped themselves back in the driving seat.As to weather or not a total unofficial will occurr we will have to wait and see what happens Monday.
So am i to assume talks are still ongoing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It would nice if someone from union Headquarters was to put a statement on this forum!!!!!!!!
There are a lot of angry members out here.
