Why do you think in the last 12 months sickness has been on the increase at RM ? - It's a silent way to say 'F U'
People feel motivated by being trusted and empowered to do their work, many are good at their job and RM's last 12 months published results are 93.5 % first class delivery which BEATS Uso targets and 2nd class rate or 99% which BEATS uso targets.
So. RM staff are working hard and achieving targets set by the industry and business. In turn management bonus is safe, USO is safe, Shareholders are happy and everyone can swing arm in arm through the meadows.
It should be a case of 'Well f***ing done' coming from the top, not actions like we are seeing being reported by the OP.

No you dont, but have you noticed the fancy wristbands supermarkets are rolling out to staff?
It monitors staff movements within the store.
They can see when you went to the toilet or a crafty fag etc - or more importantly for the bosses, it shows how much time you have done bugger all !!!!

Re: starts monday,
This started in my office yesterday. However I job share so have it to look forward to on Thursday when I go back.
My job share colleague sent me a note - she says we have to prep and keep on top of four walks - our own two plus another two. The man on the other two will be portering. How can we throw four walks out and find time to put door to doors together - plus do we do his as well
This week she's on holiday and says our walk has been going out on over time (the driver doing one and others doing the other on O/T). What if I go back Thursday and door to doors haven't been touched? I should only have the last loop left to do.
And we have to ask permission to go to the loo - it's like being back at school...
