SICK LAIDEN COLLEAGUES DOCKED 4 DAYS PAY AT TORQUAY D.O

Post by HongKongFookup »

[center]What a day the back log had taken a real hammering on the ips, 0805 before most people had even got back to there prep frames.
Lots of cut offs upto 3/4 of the office
Not alot of happy people about due to the position that people find there self's in.

Then news on the pay filtered around just to add to the ill feeling. Our illustrious caring buisness you know the (OUR PEOPLE SPEECH) the caring sharing company did the deed a dirty trick I'm sure dealt to other offices, in there wisdom had decided to take all FOUR DAY'S strike pay from this weeks wages well lets be hounest we seen it coming.

Only at TORQUAY it had gone one stage further.

Anybody long term or short term sick, was docked the 4 days
Anybody on A/L was docked 4 days
Anybody Day Off Duty docked 4 days

No Overtime paid

No Door To Door paid.

People on holiday have been phoning up from abroad because they have not had the money paid into there accounts that they were expecting. Al this from a sharing caring company, they care about there people.

You are constantly put under pressure to perform to there times being told you make time everyday time which Royal Mail want back on there terms, always feel like there going to discipline people for the slightest thing they may find wrong.

Yet it is exceptable to Dock 4 Days pay for those who have not been involved in in the last 4 Days Strike action because they are sick, maybe with stress or finacial worrys causing depression, will anybody except liability I doubt it.

Well if thats there idea of caring sharing you would not want to fall out would you, can you imagine giving your DOM a golden ticket on flexibility its there key to do with you as you please. So it is absoulutly paramount that you remain in the battle. Brothers Sisters Fight On, We have the moral high ground they are trying every thing to break us down.

Please Post Your Feelings On This Or Any Advice For The TORQUAY guys gals.
