once you use one of those tins, you are going to need a new tyre, if its just a puncture theres no need to replace the tyre everytime as long as the puncture can be repaired, also in the event of a blow out those cans dont work

I've changed plenty of wheels over the years but we have now been told nobody is allowed to change them they must call the RAC

In our DO, we signed a sheet, that stated we couldn't change wheels if we got a flat, i'm guessing somewhere in the business, someone has changed a flat with disastrous results.

no reason to fix a flat, not only are you not supposed to be doing it anymore, it can only get you in trouble you wont get thanked for it. Just follow the procedure.

We were told that no-one should change a wheel at the side of the road - we must call the RAC. Trained individuals may change a wheel, but only at the DO.

This game of cat and mouse between the union and RM has been going on for years with this wheel changing fiasco and to be quite blunt it's pathetic, it really is.

What do you do if you take a flat tyre in a remote area with no phone reception??? or if you have about 20 mins to finish your duty and have to wait on rac leaving you over your time??
