ANGARD STAFFING OR ROYAL MAIL CHRISTMAS CASUAL

I can’t decide what is the best option for myself, I am currently employed by the ANGARD STAFFING AGENCY and I’m on my forth week in with them so I’m still receiving sweat shop wages. So do I stay with ANGARD? Or do I go direct and accept the ROYAL MAIL CASUAL position that I got offered again for this up-and-coming Christmas period.
Any advice will be much appreciated.

if you're 4 weeks in and have had at least 1 shift a week you only have 8 more weeks until your pay rise...stay with Angard or you will start from the beginning

The only thing I was thinking is that I’m guaranteed a set amount of hours working as a Christmas casual whereas working with angard over Christmas I’m not guaranteed the work.
And I’ve heard the stories about angard reducing the amount of shifts you get once on the higher pay rate.

It's your choice but the RM jobs are possibly only three weeks and by December you would probably be on AWR rates so if you only got half those hours with angard you would be earning the same money. This subject has been cropping up at my mail centre and the angard casuals I know that worked last Christmas said they got whatever hours they wanted to do. Find people who worked for angard last Christmas where you work and ask them.

As for reduced shifts once AWR qualified, it hasn't made any difference so far to the work I've got from angard. Booked for 29 hours this week which is more than some of the people still on minimum wage.

Its all bs...Angard make the same profit regardless of who they send in, when I was a casual most of us kept in contact so we knew who was in and how many...They very rarely had non AWR casuals in...although they did lie about there being no shifts a fair bit but not because of AWR.

Starting this week and doing just one shift for twelve weeks would put someone on AWR just in time for the Xmas rush( W/C 24th Nov)
