Accident at work while still on probation...

Has anyone not considered the employer liability in all of this. What has happened as to Risk assessments?. If the employer knows you are excused all work place activity, and you go in against your doctors advice and further injure yourself, the employer will be culpable

You won't get paid anything other than SSP. RM won't pay sick pay in the first 12 months under any circumstances. I found this out the hard way, injured in a no-fault accident by another employee and had wages retrieved from the previous week already paid, plus nothing for 2 weeks. I got this back eventually via the CWU damages claim I had in place.
I can see your predicament - I blagged the GP in order to get back on light duties quicker than I should have done, and was taking codeine after arriving at work to cope with the pain of throwing D2D's off etc. and having it wear off before driving home later. I got my full wages 2 weeks on the trot doing this before going on delivery again. Like you I couldn't contemplate having zero for a prolonged period.
If RM had any sense (like every other company I've been at) an accident at work would be payable from day 1.

Now today I have been given a list of around 25 questions to answer which haven't been covered including had I eaten that morning!
And why haven't I injured myself before at similar addresses
And what were exact position of my feet when delivering and turning.
Are these the normal types of questions for an Accident?

Being over 7 days later, I would imagine it would be difficult to replicate everything exactly as it happened and to give an accurate recount. Does sound like they're trying to shift blame. I'd go over all the answers with the Rep if I were you. Just to be sure.

Reported as an industrial injury to DWP yet?
Even if your not claiming,watch the effect it can have on wcm chaps/chappettes

Some of them are good some are bad.some just clueless

Answer nothing until its been explained in front of of you and rep.

Area rep has been cc'd in the email, only thing I answered was that I had eaten breakfast that morning.
Not sure what happens next.

Its been tried on me but they gave up when I quite rightly had a counter for every accusation
And theres the problem

Accusations instead of actual fact finding
Treating us like suspects instead of discovering the actual root cause
