Is it me, or is the public fantastic over these strikes? The customers on my round have been great, one guy gave me a tenner towards our picketers. What a guy.

I Wrote-During Covid-Which is still relevant now
It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.
My BFF Clash
The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

I think they are behind us on the whole. A couple of people in the high street today came up to me and said good to have you back.

I've had nothing but support on my walk, I think the public understands our situation on the whole.

Same here. They've beengreat and as time has gone on, the seem more aware of the crap Royal Mail want us to agree to and that there is no competition when it comes to delivery of mail.

I had one woman get out of car and complain to me last wednesday - so I spent 15 minutes talking to her and she now supports us. Only 1 drop of support but every drop helps to make an ocean.

I've had people ask me why I've been striking. And they all support me after I've told them. They want to keep postal deliveries with happy, well-treated posties as a respected part of the community.
And they want their post offices to be safe too.
