Don't, under any circumstances, take photos of it. Sackable offence as far as I am aware, to take photos on RM property and your managers will throw the book at you if you're taking photos of their cock-ups.

Bleedin hell, thanks for that info.
And as for being a target for the lino's, ours is notorious for being very vindictive (then wonders why nobody will do anything extra for them). Pathetic really, but that's managers on RM for you.

I heard it was cheaper to pay fines for failing mail than actually employ enough people to do the job.

Every single tracked that fails is flagged up. How on earth can a DO get away without delivering them, and not only that but without scanning them into the office either?

It's rare for anything to be left in our DO except at Christmas when packets can be rolled over, but never ever Tracked. They have to go, every single one always.

It's a spdo dom will be pulling a fast one, saying no PDA there or something hence not scanned in, thus hiding fact when they are not delivered as no proof when they have reached the spdo, so when they are delivered he will simply say that was the day they arrived in spdo from mail centre

Quite possibly.
Our SPDO only got PDAs recently, a couple of years after the main Delivery Office.

Well, exactly the same today. Faced with a round that hadn't been delivered for 3 days. Phoned up to say I was cutting off, surprise surprise nobody answering the phone a the mail centre so just left a message on the answer phone.
At least 5 tracked that I counted that haven't gone out. I'm really past caring now, although it makes me ashamed to work for this company as they are clearly happily ripping 'customers' off.

Have you spoken to your area rep about the situation? Have you emailed moya about it yet?

Grass ffs!
I Wrote-During Covid-Which is still relevant now
It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.
My BFF Clash
The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

Went to bundle up my lapsing this morning and the bag of packets still hadn't been done. I asked the line manager and he said take the mail thrown out and leave the packets. It made it easier today, but come Monday we'll have double amount of packets to take
