Hang on while I laugh at your stupidity.
There is nothing funnier than a pseudo intellectual.
So that's as deep as your thinking goes then? Nothing further to add, other than some dumb insult?
Sadly no real surprise, and I suppose the usual quote from some Clash lyrics is imminent?
Nothing "pseudo intellectual" (sic) about it.... I could hardly write the cliche'd "new intelligentsia" and have you thinking I was crediting you with some, now could I?

So to recap:
The original post was about a manager putting an offensive racist slur on Facebook, apparently not his first offence.
The OPG asked for advice. Should he report it.

I posted: (and you can check on page 2).
If he made a racist comment it should be reported.

You posted: (among other rubbish)
Sadly it's all too easy to see how the Stasi, Gestapo and KGB etc were able to flourish; one of the nastier sides of human nature of some people, the willingness to grass up others for their own sad enjoyment.
.......welcome to 21st century UK, where some clearly feel that it's acceptable to jeopardise someone's job for the foolish act of posting dumb things on Facebook. Sad old world....

but the willingness of some (as evidenced on here) to drop some one in it over something minor shows how easily secret police gather info from the nasty little bubblers of the world, didn't you? What a great sense of personal satisfaction those sad individuals must have when they go home at night. "I dobbed someone in it today......what a worthwhile up-standing little man I am"

So if the manager made a racist comment on Facebook, should it be reported? He doesn't say it was "something minor" but something incredibly offensive.
That's all the OPG asked. He didn't ask for you to start pontificating in poor English about the state of the world.

None of the parties UKIP included give a flying f**k about your immigration fixation other than playing to your own misguided anxieties for some cheap votes so what difference does it make who did what to who and when. Money/economic policy drives immigration/migration policy, f**k all else.
Typical left wing nonsense. So what you are implying is everything is ok, immigration IS NOT affecting our housing, schools, nhs ,WAGE STRUCTURE something you as a union stalwart should be looking at re the minimum wage, Wake up people. we are on flood alert. and I don't mean water

Quite simple really, It essentially boils down to Royal Mail social media policy and the potential of bringing RM into disrepute and legal action.

Anyone with a Facebook account should think twice before posting any comments they are not preprepared to back up verbally.

So if the manager made a r etc etc yap yap.
Given a big swerve then to the point of the basic premise of "innocent until proven guilty"? Best gloss over that one,eh Clash?

Surely the "innocent until proven guilty" part comes after the reporting of an alleged offence.
If you re-read your own posts your problem was with someone even having the gall to report an alleged offence or to use your own words "grass up".

The "innocence" or guilt of the manager will be subject to an investigation but what has that got to do with the decision to report the alleged incident?

I'm starting to think Clash has your age about right.
Re-read my comment, slowly this time and with your finger under each word...Money/economic policy drives immigration/migration policy, f**k all else.. That does not imply that everything is ok, immigration IS NOT affecting our housing, schools, nhs ,WAGE STRUCTURE.

What it states in simple 9 year old's terms is that you can throw your tantrum, sulk and vote UKIP all you like but immigration policy will not change because from an economic point of view it's good for the country/business and money/business rules...especially with Farage and his mates/Cameron and his mates/Miliband and well....if he had any mates...

Wow

Here's one for you

Its okay to have your beliefs

But not OK to state them when representing your work
Or as a represantative of your company

We know racism is wrong as is sexism, bigotry, homophobia, class distinction and every other kind of prejudice born of fear and ignorance

For the record I'll grass anyone in a heartbeat if they did what this manager is alleged to have done.

Because its wrong

Not because I bear a grudge

Because the rascists/bigots etc....you are bullies

Don't like bullies....
I won

Is Scottish a foreign language already? Is simple comprehension a thing of the past?
The initial points raised concerned the unhealthy willingness for some to want to grass up someone (and the fact that he's a DOM seems to give it an extra emphasis for the naughty little boys of RM) and then moved on to Clash's eagerness to believe the DOM was guilty, even though he readily stated that information on the case was sparse, to say the least.
There. Two separate, though linked, points in a 4 page thread.
Not too taxing, was it?
