Actually there are now two schemes, Cycle Plus (whichever one isn't Cycle2work) has the bike valued at a certain percentage of the purchase cost after the 18 month period, it varies depending on the initial cost but is around 20%. You can either pay that or extend the scheme which alters your tax code slightly and you pay less.
Either way the schemes aren't as good as they used to be.
